EKITI STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN YOUTHS SYMPOSIA, LECTURES etc
Students of Ekiti State University are to participate in series of lectures, symposia, essay writings and internship under the National Youth Forum Network being anchored by Toyosi Akerele founder of the RISE Youth Forum Network.
Toyosi disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the Ekiti State University Vice-Chancellor, Prof Oladipo Aina.
The RISE Network founder said that a one-year programme covering all Universities in Nigeria was to reform and educate students as well as to discourage cultism in Nigerian higher institutions. She stressed that such programme would enhance the leadership traits in the Youths in order to build them for future challenges.
Toyosi who said her organization has covered 23 states in Nigeria, pointed out that the programme was necessary to discover the potentials of students in EKSU and give them positive orientation that would make them good leaders. She commended the reformation being carried out by the administration of Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina. Toyosi declared, “this University is blessed to have a leader in person of Professor Patrick Aina”.
The Ekiti State University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aina commended the RISE network founder and pledged total support to the reformation of Nigerian Youths to become leaders of tomorrow.
He pledged the readiness of the EKSU students to participate in programmes that are in line with the vision of his administration.
