EKSU VC VISITS NUC, UNIDO……

As part of Exploring ways to move Ekiti State University forward, the Vice-Chancellor Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina had a working visit to the National Universities Commission (NUC), the Tertiary Education Trust Fund Office (TETF), the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) offices in Abuja between Monday, July 9^th and Thursday, July 12^th 2012.

Commenting on the visit, Professor Aina who specifically visit the Distance Learning Division of the NUC and the office of Federal Minister of Agriculture, Dr Akinwumi Adesina said: “the visit was to discuss issues relating to developmental programmes for transforming our university”.

It will be recalled that the Vice-Chancellor has been hammering on the restructuring of some programmes in the University to make them relevant to the needs of the people, the state and Nigeria in general.
