EKSU CONGRATULATES FEMI FALANA AND DAYO AKINLAJA

A renowned Human Rights lawyer, Femi Falana and the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ekiti State, Barrister Dayo Akinlaja have been congratulated by the Ekiti State University on their elevation to the position of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

The University, in separate messages to the two Senior Advocates of Nigeria, acknowledged that their elevation to the exalted position was as a result of their dedication, handwork and spirit of excellence in their services to the nation as legal luminaries.

The University in the messages signed by the Registrar, Dr Omojola Awosusi, observed that Falana’s hood arrived rather late but added that Nigerians were glad that the reasons for the delay were not unconnected with the Barrister’s solid defence for human rights and the cause of the masses. The University prayed that the continual steps being taken by Mr. Falana and Mr Akinlaja would be met with tremendous success.

“We share with you the joys and hopes of this important and auspicious lifting and we pray that you will continue to flourish and prosper”, the University stated.
