EKSU COMMISERATES WITH GHANA....CONGRATULATES NEW PRESIDENT

The Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Professor Oladipo Aina has commiserated with the new President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. John Dramani Mahama on the passing on of Professor John Atta Mills, the immediate past president of the country. The Vice-Chancellor expressed shock on the sudden death of Professor Atta Mills and urged the new president to extend his condolence to the entire people of the Republic of Ghana.

In another development, the EKSU Vice-Chancellor has congratulated Dr. John Dramani Mahama on his assumption of duty as the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Professor Aina in a message noted that Dr. Mahama was conferred with a honorary Doctor of Public Administration Degree on 31st March, 2012 during the 30th Anniversary of the University in Ado Ekiti.

As a distinguished Alumnus, we share with you the joy and hope of this important and auspicious elevation and we pray that you will continue to flourish and prosper, the Vice-Chancellor remarked.

The EKSU Vice-Chancellor also congratulated Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, on the elevation of his personal friend, Dr. John Dramani Mahama, to the position of the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Professor Aina expressed the hope that the strong relationship between the two of them will continue to wax stronger.

The University, therefore, wishes Dr. Mahama a successful tenure as the President of the Republic of Ghana.
