Two students from the Department of Computer Engineering at Ekiti State University (EKSU) have secured second place in the prestigious 7th National Students’ Project Competition organized by the Committee of Deans of Engineering and Technology of Nigerian Universities (CODET) and COREN.
The students, supervised by Engr. Abiodun Kehinde, presented their innovative final year project, “Design and Implementation of a Smart Walking Stick for the Visually Impaired,” in the group category, impressing judges from across Nigerian universities.
Their achievement was recognized with a cash prize of N150,000 at the 2024 COREN Engineering Assembly, showcasing EKSU’s excellence in engineering education and research.
