EKSU VC HOSTS ALUMNI PRESIDENT
The newly elected National President, EKSU Alumni Association, Engineer Dipo Bamisaye, FNSE, has been received along with members of his executive by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun.
Engineer Dipo Bamisaye acknowledged that he had received massive support from several thousands of EKSU alumni across the world to lead the Alumni Association at this particular period. He expressed his readiness to collaborate with the management of the university with a view to making EKSU a 21st century world class institution.
The Alumni National President appreciated the university Management for the prudent management of its resources inspite of its limited financial resources. He therefore pledged his loyalty and commitment towards the repositioning of the institution.
Bamisaye, a registered member of the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) promised further deliberations with the Management to improve the university’s image positively and ensure industrial harmony on campus. He further pledged his commitment to making EKSU rank among the best in the world.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun appreciated the giant strides of Engineer Bamisaye’s predecessor, Asiwaju Dotun Adetuberu and charged the new executive to continue with the good work of its predecessors.
Professor Olanipekun emphasized that the Alumni has a lot of roles to play in the repositioning efforts of the university.
The Vice Chancellor also called on the past leaders of the Association to join hands with Engineer Bamisaye in order to ensure the success of his administration.
