TUITION FEES, NOT INCREASED IN EKSU
The attention of the Management of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti (EKSU), has been drawn to a report from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) naming EKSU as one of the institutions that had increased their tuition fees.
For the avoidance of doubt, the university is not in the habit of increasing its tuition fees arbitrarily. It is the policy of the university that whatever a student pays in 100 level is what he/she will pay throughout the period of studentship. NELFUND and indeed, members of the public are to note that the university has not increased its tuition fees, as the fee regimes approved by the Governing Council s of the 2024/2025 academic session are still in place and maintained.
Ekiti State University will continue to support NELFUND in its efforts to reduce the financial burdens being faced by students for the purpose of achieving academic sustainability.
The university Management appreciates the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for putting in place NELFUND to provide succour for Nigerian students.
