CIRCULAR TO THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY ON CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR BREAK
The University Management, under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti, Professor Babatola Ayodele has approved the commencement of Christmas and New Year break for members of staff, to take effect from Tuesday, 23rd December, 2025 to Sunday, 4th January, 2026.
The break is to enable staff and students to enjoy the yuletide season and take a good rest after the year 2025 activities.
The Vice Chancellor, therefore, charges all members of staff and students to use the period of break to pray fervently for the country, Nigeria, Ekiti State and Ekiti State University.
The break, however, does not affect members of staff in the Security Department and Health Centre of the university.
The Vice Chancellor wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance, as well as safe travels during and after the break.
Members of the university community are to note that academic and administrative activities would resume fully on campus on Monday, 5th January, 2026.
